PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To coat the surface of a roll for OA(office automation) equipments having a surface coating film obtained from a heat resistance coating material, in particular a surface coating film of a fluoro-rubber with a dispersion composition of a fluorine-containing molten resin capable of melt forming. SOLUTION: In this coating method, the composition prepared by dispersing the fluorine-containing molten resin powder having 5-1000μm average particle diameter in a liquid medium is applied on at least a part of the surface of the layer containing the heat resistant rubber formed on an article, the liquid medium is removed from the applied composition and the fluorine-containing molten resin powder is baked. In such a case, the heat resistant rubber is the fluoro-rubber or silicone rubber and the composition is a water based dispersion composition.
