Provided is a modified isobutylene-isoprene rubber (IIR) including a structural unit which is represented by chemical formula 1. More specifically, provided is a modified isobutylene-isoprene rubber exhibiting excellent properties such as adhesiveness, transparency, flexibility, and moisture permeation resistance. In the chemical formula 1, X represents an alkyl group including at least two carboxylic groups.
