PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a stack height of a writing head by employing a multiple coil in which one coil is stacked onto another coil and connecting each of the coils only to its adjacent coils. SOLUTION: On a first coil, a writing gap material including a path that is a medium in electrical contact therewith is supplied, and second and third coils each including an internal contact and an external contact are formed thereon as a single bifilar coil. The internal contact of the second coil is in electrical contact with an internal contact of the first coil via the path in the writing gap material. A second insulating layer is supplied on the second and third coils, and a path of a medium capable of realizing an electrical contact is provided similarly in the case of a first insulating layer. A fourth coil having an internal contact and an external contact is supplied on this second insulating layer, and the internal contact and the external contacts are connected to the second and third coils, respectively.
