The radiator system includes a strip-shaped conductor (1) arranged in a closed circle above a circular metal plate (3). The conductor is positioned by spacers (10) made e.g. of PVC. A second circular metal plate (4) is arranged axial-symmetrically over the plane of the conductor and is electrically connected to the plate (3) at the centre via a cylindrical metal connecting element (9). The outer conductor (6.2) of an exciting coaxial waveguide (6) is connected to the edge of a panel (7) within the plate (3). The inner conductor (6.1) of the exciting waveguide is connected to the conductor (1) at an angle of 65 degrees to the position of the connecting element. The connecting element couples the circular conductor to the metal plate (3).
