PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately confirm the position of a immersed body using a float. SOLUTION: In immersing an integrated manifold body in a ditch D filled with stabilizing liquid B, a float 13 is tied to a specified part of the integrated pipe body through a connecting string 12, and a case 24 surrounding the connecting string 12, the float 13 and the specified part and isolating them from the surrounding stabilizing liquid B is fitted to the integrated pipe body. The case 14 is filled with a low viscous fluid F with lower viscosity than the stabilizing liquid B, to float the float 13, and in the state of the connecting string 12 being tensed along a vertical direction by buoyancy, the immersed position of the immersed pipe body is confirmed on the basis of the position of the float 13.
