PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent high edges by using a die coater having the chamferd tip end in the paint discharge direction of guides for dividing a slit into several slits. SOLUTION: A shim 11 is composed of a plurality of guides 12 extended to the discharge port of a die coater and a support 13 for coupling the guides 12 and is disposed between the upper blade and the under blade of the extrusion type die coater to form a slit part of the die coater. The slit is divided into several slits by the guides 12 and a plurality of paint discharge paths is formed. The tip end of the guides 12 is chamfered. That is, the width of the guides 12 is slightly narrowed at the tip end thereof so as to slightly increase the coating width right before the paint is discharged. Consequently, the paint flows in the width direction a little right before being discharged. |
