PURPOSE: An ordinary robot agent and a real-time searching method are provided to efficiently search the contents of web sites, of which the updating cycles are speedy, as a searcher directly searches specific web sites as well as the database. CONSTITUTION: A robot agent(100) is composed of a collector(10) forming a collecting stage and an indexer(20) forming an indexing stage. In the collecting stage the data of a preappointed web site are collected through the collector(10). In the indexing stage the data collected in the collecting stage are indexed through the indexer(20) and the data indexed through the indexer(20) forms a database(300). In a searching stage the database(300) is searched through a searcher(200). The searcher(200) directly searches the preappointed web site as well as the database, so as to search web sites having the latest updated data which couldn't be searched in an old method.
