PURPOSE: A pnematric radial tire bead is provided to minimize the gap between the bead part of a tire and a rim and to repress the rim slip by improve all the characteristics of a tire. CONSTITUTION: In a tire bead(10) for repressing a rim slip effect, as compared to 5 degrees drop center rim, a base rim, a radius of bead hill part(12) is larger than 5.5mm, is smaller than 6.5mm which is the radius of a curved surface(22) of a rim(20). An angle between a lateral face part of bead, contacted with a rim flange(23), and a plane perpendicular to a rotating axis is larger than 0 degree, and is smaller than 3 degrees, the angle of the rim flange(23). The radius of the upper bight of the side surface of a bead contacting with the upper bight of a rim flange(23) is between 9mm and 15mm. The height, from the bead base line to the radial center of the bead inflection contacting with the rim flange(23), is equal to 9.5mm, the maximum height of the rim flange(23), or is between 9mm and 10.0mm. The angle between the bead base line and the bottom surface of the bead is larger than 7 degrees and smaller than 12 degrees.
