PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gel type solid electrolyte layer from being overdried and from sticking to a guide roll and the like so as to improve productivity by sticking a sheet type member to the surface of the solid electrolyte layer after coating and forming the gel type solid electrolyte layer onto a battery electrode comprising an active material layer formed on a collector. SOLUTION: After a solid electrolyte layer is formed by drying a gel dissolved solution by means of a drier 54 arranged on the downstream side of a coater head 53, a positive/negative electrode material is wound up by means of a winding roll 55 via third and fourth guide rolls 52c, 52d. In a first surface coating, a sheet type member 57 unwound from the first sheet unwinding roll 56 is stuck to the solid electrolyte layer when the positive/negative electrode material after the solid electrolyte layer formation is wound up by means of the winding roll 55. The sheet type member 57 is brought into tight contact with the solid electrolyte layer by means of a nip roll 58 arranged adjacently to the winding roll 55 so as to be interposed between the winding roll 55 and the sheet type member 57. |
