PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of opening/closing a contact. SOLUTION: In this pressure switch, first and second chambers 3 and 4 partitioned with a diaphragm 2 are formed within a casing 1. The first chamber 3 is to be a pressure chamber communicating with an object for pressure detection, and the second chamber 4 is provided with a switch mechanism, 5 equipped with a movable contact member 11 displacing according to the deformation of the diaphragm 2 and a fixed contact member 8 for the movable contact member 11. A metal ring member for pressing and fixing the periphery of the diaphragm 2 is used as the fixed contact member of a switching mechanism 5.
