PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler capable of being steered with a minor steering force and assuring a high running performance even on a soft road surface, etc. SOLUTION: A swing frame 46 is pivoted at the bottom of a stationary frame 22 fixed to a vehicle body 12. On the swing frame 46, a front roll wheel 52 and rear roll wheel 54 formed from rubber tire are pivoted, and a front guide board 62 and rear guide board 64 made of metal are pivoted in front of and behind them. An endless belt 44 made of rubber is set on a drive wheel 16, the front guide board 62, roll wheels 52 and 54, and rear guide board 64 so that approximately a hexagonal shape is formed when viewed on the side elevation. When running on a soft road surface, the crawler 10 sinks to prolong the grounding length, so that a high running performance can be established. On a hard road surface, the grounding length is approximately identical to the roll wheel pitch L being short, so that the steering moment becomes small, and steering can be performed with a small steering force.
