PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of regulating slight slide movements of a terminal fitting in a cavity. SOLUTION: This connector is provided with a cavity capable of housing a terminal fitting 2 in its housing 3. A retainer 60 is assembled from the upper side of the housing 3 for secondarily locking the terminal fitting 2. A stopper piece 22 of the retainer 60 is provided with a spring part 70 deformable by deflexion in the cross direction.
