Apparatus and methods are provided for improved imaging, particularly of images relating to crime scenes. The apparatus provides apparatus for imaging a profile at a location, the apparatus comprising a support frame, one or more light sources for applying light to a location, a light detecting unit for detecting light from the profile, means for moving the light detecting unit relative to the location, the profile being imaged part by part if the light detecting unit is moved. The invention is particularly useful for imaging stains or marks at crime scenes, particularly in inaccessible locations. |
