<p>A body probe for MRI which is easy to attach to an examinee, free from deterioration of an image and easy to handle; and an MRI device using this probe. The body probe for MRI comprises a base coil section (11), two side coil sections (12) provided on the opposite sides of the base coil section (11) and joined to a side coil connection (25), and a center coil section (13) for joining the two side coil sections (12), together at the center of the examinee's chest. The side coil sections (12) are formed of a soft material, comprise flexible coils embedded thereinside, and can be shaped in compliance with the body side surfaces of the examinee. A fixing band (16) which brings the side coil sections (12) and the center coil section (13) into close contact with the examinee for fixing is provided at the center of a portion where the two side coil sections (12) are joined with the center coil section (813) at the examinee's chest. The above structure can provide an easy-to-use MRI body probe which can be easily attached to an examinee and produce a high-quality MRI image.</p> |
