PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-push type card connector which is simply structured and provided with a small number of part items. SOLUTION: A connector 1 is provided with an insulator 2, a plurality of contacts 3, a movable plate 4 mounted to the insulator 2, and a coil spring 5 always energizing the movable plate 4 in the card 11 ejecting direction. A tip part 4B1 of a guide pin 4B arranged in the movable plate 4 and provided with resiliency is guided by means of a cam mechanism 2C arranged in the insulator 2. When a card 11 is inserted into the connector 1, the tip of the card 11 abuts to a card abutting part 4A in the movable plate 4, so that the movable plate 4 is moved to be locked by the cam mechanism 2C, and a pad 11A in the card 11 is brought into electrical contact with the contact 3. When the card 11 is forcibly inserted into the connector 1, the movable plate 4 is moved in the ejecting direction by means of the energizing force of the coil spring 5, and consequently, the card 11 is ejected from the connector 1. |
