PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic information reading device for a physical distribution system allowing easy initial setting or an easy setting change. SOLUTION: This automatic information reading device comprises set cards 21, information readers 4a, 4b and a controller 8. In the set card 21, various setting information is written. A field worker holds a wished set card 21 corresponding to an initial setting or a setting change to the respective information readers 4a, 4b. Thereby, the respective information readers 4a, 4b read the setting information from the set card 21 and calculate control information to transmit it to the controller 8. The controller 8 links the control information transmitted from the respective information readers 4a, 4b to perform the initial setting or the setting change. |
