PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling advance notice of signal conversion time of a traffic signal lamp is provided to allow a driver to be easily recognize a remaining period of time of green light turn-on time by turning the green light on and off for a period of time starting from a predetermined point of time before a signal conversion time to the signal conversion time. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for controlling advance notice of signal conversion time of a traffic signal lamp, a signal light selection part(7) selects a signal light which will warn the signal conversion time among a traffic signal lamp(1). When the signal light selection part operates a switch selecting flickering of a green light(1c), a controller(3) recognizes the setting state of the switch. A flickering time setting part(5) determines how long the period of time during which the green light flickers is before the signal conversion time. The controller recognizes the period of time determined by the flickering time setting part. A flickering cycle setting part(6) sets a speed value for making the flickering cycle faster with reaching the signal conversion time.
