The insert part has a section (4) matching the shape of fixing hole (11) in the part in which the pin is to be fixed, a pot-shaped or plate-shaped aperture section (2) for fitting around the fixing hole and a guide section (3) for the fixing element arranged coaxially within the aperture section. The guide section is connected to the aperture section via the matching section and can be moved coaxially to make a clamp fit in the fixing hole under plastic deformation of the matching section. An Independent claim is also included for an application of the device in front panels of unit carriers.
