摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a carbonyl group quantity without any influence of impurity by adding a compound, which is reactive with the carbonyl group, in excess of an equivalent point in a carbonyl-containing compound solution for reaction, adding a compound, which is reactive with the added compound, in excess of an equivalent point in the unreacted added compound for reaction, and determining the product compound. SOLUTION: To a solution/dispersion of a carbonyl-containing compound, a compound A, which can react with the carbonyl group, in excess of an equivalent point is added for performing reaction between them. Subsequently, a compound B, which can react with the compound A, in excess of an equivalent point is added to the compound A so as to produce a compound C. Then, the compound C is determined for determination of the carbonyl group in the carbonyl-containing compound. In this way, the carbonyl group is brought into reaction with another compound so as to be transformed into an easily measurable substance, so that the carbonyl group can be determined with high precision without any direct determination.
