PURPOSE: An AV-typed karaoke using the internet is provided to enable users to produce image data directed by themselves and to immediately offer users lots of songs at low cost based upon the internet in order to satisfy users' desires. CONSTITUTION: When a user selects a song and a mode and then starts to sing the song, an image converting circuit changes the screen of the song for the user to be displayed on the screen. When the image converting circuit generates a signal, the voice data of the user is transmitted to a MPEG card as WAV type. At this time, the image data from the image converting circuit and the voice data from a mike are transmitted to a MPEG encoder through AV output terminal that supports multi-channels. The data from the MPEG encoder are transmitted to a computer via a hub through LAN. A recording program in a server system starts a compressing operation in the MPEG encoder and a recording operation temporarily in a hard of server at the same time while the user are singing the song. When the user finishes singing the song, a voice recording controller and the image converting circuit transmits a stopping signal to the MPEG encoder in order to finish the recording operation. A module sends a signal concerning the payment to a web site on the internet.
