PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly cope with a requirement from a customer only by set up change for printing by applying a print treatment onto the surface of a shutter part and/or onto the surface of a cartridge case except for a shutter part after housing a recording medium into the inside of the cartridge case and attaching the shutter. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing an information recording medium housed in a cartridge case with a shutter, the surface of a shutter part and/or the surface of the cartridge case other than the shutter part are printed after the recording medium is housed into the inside of the cartridge case and the shutter is attached to the cartridge case. Since preliminarily printed shutters and cartridge for discriminating the medium are not prepared and only a single and plain brand is necessitated by using this method, a manufacturing cost is reduced, inventory management becomes easy, and the quantity of inventory is drastically reduced.
