METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WATCHING LIMIT OF VCR

PURPOSE: A method for controlling the watching limit of a VCR(video cassette recorder) is provided to limit watching depending on films by letting a person watch a program via inputting a password. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the watching limit of a VCR is composed of the following steps. XDS data including a password are received from a broadcasting channel or a tape to be watched. A password input demand is displayed. When an accurate password is inputted, the images are outputted normally. If the accurate password is not inputted within a certain time, the relevant images are stopped. Therefore, the method prevents juveniles from watching the adult broadcast programs by limiting the images in case of not inputting the password.
