PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correlation circuit that can obtain correlation in spite of a small scale of number of components. SOLUTION: An A/D converter 11 converts a received signal that is spread- spectrum-processed into a digital signal, the signal by one symbol is written in a sample-hole S/H circuit 15 by using a 16 MHz clock signal under the control of a control section 12, and a high speed correlator 16 reads the signal from the S/H circuit 15 by using a high speed clock of 1.6 GHz by one symbol for a plurality of number of times while shifting the signal for each sample. Then the high speed correlator 16 applies product-sum operation between the signal and the spread code by using a clock signal of 1.6 GHz and a signal by a succeeding symbol is written in the S/H circuit as soon as the signal is read.
