PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for a culvert keeping superior water cut-off performance in a narrow joint of the joint interval 50 mm or less. SOLUTION: This joint for a culvert is provided with a plate-shaped primary seal part 2 integrally connected to an annular continuous base part 1 which is engaged with a fitting groove 5 formed in a culvert B and inclinedly extended to an opposed culvert side in its outer circumferential side, and a secondary seal part 3 with a chevron cross section projected to the opposed culvert side in its internal circumferential side. Where, the height H2 of the secondary seal part 8 is set shorter than the height H1 of the primary seal part 2 and a space part 4 is formed in the base part 1.
