APPARATUS FOR FUEL GRANULATION

PURPOSE: An apparatus for fuel atomization including a plurality of swirl grooves(44) and circular grooves(43) connected to the swirl grooves(44) on the bottom side is provided to atomize fuel injected from an injector. More particularly, an apparatus for fuel atomization is provided to increase swirl force of fuel and, thus, promote atomization or fine granulating of fuel by improving the shape of swirl grooves(44) so as to increase the offset amount of the swirl grooves(44). CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fuel atomization comprises circular grooves(43) and a plurality of swirl grooves(44) on bottom side, the swirl groove(44) being offset from the center point of the circular groove(43) with a desired amount of distance(D2) and conversed toward the circular groove(43) side, and a fuel guide for introducing fuel to the swirl grooves(44) on outer peripheral portion, wherein the swirl groove(44) portion includes a connection groove(44a) having radius of curvature larger than the radius of curvature of the circular groove(43) and a straight groove(44b) leading the connection groove(44a) to the fuel guide, thereby atomization or fine granulating of fuel is promoted with the same dimensions of the apparatus for fuel atomization because swirl force applied to fuel can be increased by improving the shape of swirl grooves(44) to increase the offset amount of the swirl grooves(44).
