OPTICAL DISC APPARATUS AND DATA REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc apparatus and a reproducing method assuring excellent reproducing signal quality which allow simultaneously obtaining the optimum parameter of a header area and head area without increase of the learning time. SOLUTION: An optical disc information reproducing apparatus is provided with a jitter value measuring means 110 and an error measuring means 111. The readability of header area and data area can be improved without increase of the learning time by simultaneously optimizing the parameter using the number of header errors for the header area and jitter value for the data area.
