PURPOSE: A combined magnetic and non-magnetic induction heating cooker is provided to reduce costs of a driving element, safely use without any limit according to a position where container is placed, and conduct a heating in an optical heating mode by automatically detecting the placed container. CONSTITUTION: A rectifying part rectifies an input utility power into a pulsating DC voltage and outputs the same. A smoothing part(2) flattens the pulsating DC voltage and converts the same into a predetermined DC voltage. Two switching elements have antiparallel diodes. An inverter part(3) switches the two switching elements according to a switching control signal to generate a resonant signal. Working coils induce an eddy current in a container and heat the eddy current. The container is heated due to an electromagnetic wave inducing effect by a magnetic field generated by the resonant voltage of the inverter part(3). A heating part(4) has the first, the second and the third load selecting relays for controlling a resonant tank. An input current detecting part(16) detects an input current flowing the rectifying part(1) by using an input transducer(9). A control part(8) outputs the control signal according to the current inputted through a high frequency current detecting part(7) and the input current detecting part(16).
