LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR DIESEL ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricating oil composition for diesel engines capable of effectively removing combustion residues such as soot mixed in a lubricating oil and maintaining the lubricating performances and cleanliness for a long period. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition for diesel engines is obtained by adding (1) 0.5-5.0 wt.% of a polyalkenylsuccinic ester, (2) 0.5-5.0 wt.% of zinc dithiophosphate and (3) 3-10 wt.% of one or more kinds of detergents selected from the group consisting of Ca sulfonate, Ca phenate and Ca salicylate to a base oil comprising a mineral oil, a synthetic oil or a mixed oil thereof.
