The invention relates to a mounting for a moveable vehicle seat (3) arranged inside the body of a vehicle, comprising at least one damping element (13) that acts upon vibrations that are transmitted from the body of the vehicle to the seat (3). The vehicle seat (3) can be decoupled from the body of the vehicle (18) in a constructively simple manner. This is achieved by means of at least two rollers (2) that can moven guide rails (1). Said rollers are provided with a wheel (12) that is decoupled from a bearing ring (14). A rubber-elastic element is provided as a decoupling damping element between the wheel (12) and the bearing ring (14). In a preferred embodiment, said damping element is vulcanized in between the wheel (12) and the bearing ring (14).
