PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive magnet switch having a simple structure by utilizing the gravity for the mechanical restoring force of the magnet switch. SOLUTION: A contact piece 21 having a mounted permanent magnet piece is vertically movably installed on a disc-shaped conductor in a retaining frame 11 formed out of a non-magnetic insulation material. Two fixed conductors 31, 32 that can contact on the disc-shaped contact piece 21 are formed in the retaining frame 11 at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction. This magnet switch can be manufactured at low cost because of a simple structure. By installing the permanent magnet piece on the disc-shaped contact piece, the magnetic force of a permanent magnet piece for moving it from the outside can be reduced and an inexpensive magnet can be used for it.
