PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive cloth and paper fixing structure capable of eliminating production of melting resin at a base plate head end part of a portable polishing device to the utmost, eliminating a sense of incongruity at the time of polishing work on the same board head end part and carrying out uniform polishing. SOLUTION: A fixing member 8 has a synthetic resin made base material 8a having the same surface state as a part of a board 4, a compressible intermediate member 9 integrally molded on the same surface and a large number of hook pieces 8b to hook/look connect, a projected part lower than the hook pieces 8b is projected in place of the hook pieces 8b on a head end acute angle corner part 8a' which is on the one surface of the fixing member 8 and where generation of a heating value is the most intense and a clearance is formed without any step difference between the board 4 and the compressible intermediate member 9 by the same projected part in an abrasive cloth and paper fixing structure of a portable polishing device constituted by laminating and fixing abrasive cloth and paper 10 on a board head end part of the portable polishing device free to connect to and disconnect from a part of a surface of the board 4 through the compressible intermediate member 9 on the fixing member 8 having rigidity. |
