PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for compression solidifying chips being cut by a shredder efficiently. SOLUTION: A feed screw 20 for feeding cut chips in an axial direction is provided in a tubular easing 19, and a compression solidifying device 3 wherein a tubular element 27 whose diameter is gradually reduced towards a feeding direction A of the cut chips is linked to an outlet part 24 of an axial direction end of a casing 19, is arranged below a shredder 2. Then, a cut chip exhaust port 10a of the shredder 2 is linked to a supply port 23 of the easing 19 of the compression solidifying device 3.
