PURPOSE: A variable intake system is provided to automatically control an intake amount and speed while checking a load condition of an engine, thereby improving the engine output through all operation areas and reducing the fuel consumption. CONSTITUTION: A variable intake system is formed in a dual-tube structure with an intake manifold(10) by inserting a partition wall(11) such as a flexible diaphragm to be deformed, wherein the intake manifold is divided into two paths(12,13) by the partition wall, one of the path is communicated with a surge tank(30) for inducing air from the surge tank to an engine and the other path is communicated to a pressure control pipe(20) with respect to which a pressing element comes in or out according to a load condition of the engine for changing a sectional area of the intake path of the intake manifold.
