The invention relates to a method for structured representation of data on a graphic display, wherein data is structured in several hierarchical levels, wherein structuring is carried out according to content criteria, wherein a logical page for representing data on the graphic display is allocated to each hierarchical level and wherein a link possibility to the concrete data is offered on the lower hierarchical level. According to the invention, improved overview in said known methods is achieved in that the link to subordinate hierarchical levels or to the concrete data is made possible in the hierarchical levels by means of buttons uniformly disposed on and substantially matching the logical pages and in that the number of buttons is selected in such a way as to at least substantially match the different hierarchical levels. |
