PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which is more inexpensive than an already existing wire mesh or iron plate washing machine, and is compact. SOLUTION: Upper and lower brushes 10 and 11 are formed in a manner to meet the shape of a wire mesh or an iron plate, and the center of the wire mesh or the iron plate is placed between the upper and lower brushes, and the wire mesh or the iron plate is rotated, and at the same time, the brushes are rotated, and thus, the total area of the wire mesh or the iron plate can be cleaned. Also, since the wire brushes are rotated on the top and the bottom, and in addition, the wire mesh or the iron plate (in the case of a circular shape) is planarly and slowly rotated as well, the size of the machine is compact when compared with a conventional machine, and in addition, a cost reduction becomes possible.
