PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning method without tack welding a top plate when the top plate is welded to a bowl of a sink. SOLUTION: When a core Im is arranged and fixed in and to the inside of a bowl S and a top plate T is seam welded to the bowl S of a sink, a positioning pin, which can advance and retreat toward and from an inner surface of a peripheral wall of the bowl S and moreover which is abutted on an end surface of a bowl hole of the top plate T and fixed in a position where the bowl S and the top plate T are positioned, is arranged in plural suitable places proximate to the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the bowl S in the core Im, and a position of the top plate T to the bowl S is decided with the above described pin and the top plate T is fixed to the bowl S.
