PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress deformation of a dash panel and a cowl box by attaching a reinforcement to a surface, i.e., a surface on the side of a vehicle compartment, of a dash side panel which is disposed at the side of a dash panel partitioning the front part of the vehicle compartment and is coupled to a front pillar. SOLUTION: A reinforcement 20 of a closed cross section is attached to a dash side panel 6 from the side of a vehicle compartment. The dash side panel 6 is coupled to a front pillar 5 by welding or the like, and a side end 4a of a dash panel 4 is coupled to the dash side panel 6 by welding or the like. The reinforcement 20 is attached to a surface 21 on the side of the vehicle compartment, of the dash side panel 6 disposed at the side of the dash panel 4 by welding or the like. Thus, the reinforcement and the dash side panel are not separated from each other when excessive impact force is applied from the front to the front part of a vehicle body, whereby displacement resulting from deformation can be effectively suppressed.
