PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover attaching structure in a winding frame of a deflection yoke device, capable of attaching a cover to a tip part of the winding frame without damaging the content such as an electric wire. SOLUTION: An electric wire 5 is wound between flat plates 6a, 6b which are discoid tongue pieces at the tips of a winding frame 4 made of plastics, etc. A plastic cylindrical cover 7 is attached to the tips of the discoid flat plates 6a, 6b. An arc-shaped projection 9 is provided in the direction opposite to the cylindrical cover 7 and is fitted between the discoid flat plates 6a, 6b. And the projection 9 comprises flat surfaces and tapered surfaces extending from the flat surfaces. The flat surfaces are positioning surfaces abutting to inner surfaces of the discoid flat plates 6a, 6b. The tapered surfaces facilitate the insertion of the projection 9 between the discoid flat plates 6a, 6b.
