<p>The invention relates to an apparatus aiding physiologic systolic and diastolic dynamics of heart cavities, comprising a surrounding sheet or skirt such as a band (1) enveloping the external walls of the auricular or ventricular cavities (11, 12); means (2a, 3a, 5) for applying to said envelope a pressure which is approximately transverse to the axis of the ventricles in synchronism with the systolic cycles of said heart cavities, said means permitting an alternated succession of narrowings and widenings of said envelope (1) surrounding the walls of the heart cavities (11, 12); control means for the remote governing of the application, during its operation, of said narrowings and widenings; and means for securing said envelope (1) on itself, around the heart.</p> |
