PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intertilling and weeding machine for a paddy field capable of effectively intertilling and weeding. SOLUTION: This intertilling and weeding machine has a machine body 3 fitted to a fitting frame 1 to a machine body of a traveling vehicle. The machine body 3 has a slender horizontal base part 4 and the horizontal base part 4 has plural ratchet wheel-fitting parts 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d and 6e. The plural ratchet wheels 33 are rotatably supported on each shaft at a tip side of each fitting frame of the ratchet wheel-fitting parts 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d and 6e. A hexagonal rotatable ring part 105 is provided at a central part of each of the ratchet wheels 33. Six claw plate parts 106 are projected at each 60 deg. angular interval with each other on an outer peripheral face of the every rotatable ring parts 105. Each of the claw plate parts receives the soil pressure and rotates in the traveling of the traveling vehicle and transfers to draw a modified cycloid curve. At the time, each of the claw plate parts nips the soil and reverses to make the soil be convex state and be removed.
