PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make image recording practicable with a resolution in black color images made intense more than the resolutions in images of other colors. SOLUTION: A plurality (two units) of black color recording heads 42K1 and 42K2 are arranged, being staggared in the direction of vertical scanning Y. Nozzle pitches Pzk in the direction of horizontal scanning X for each of the black color recording heads are formed, being the same as the nozzle pitches Pz for each of other colors recording heads, and furthermore the black color recording heads 42K1 and 42K2 are arranged, being staggered each other by a pitch smaller than the nozzle pitch Pzk in the direction X. Then, the black color recording heads are formed so that they can be driven for simultaneous ink jetting. |
