PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily treat harmful materials in raw water in an efficient and sure manner. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for treating harmful materials in which ozone 2 is blown from an ozonizer 14 into raw water 1 contg. harmful materials and the raw water 1 is passed through a separation membrane 13 to treat the harmful materials, an adsorbent tank 16 contg. an adsorbent which adsorbs the ozone 2 and the harmful materials is disposed on at least one of the upper stream and downstream sides of the separation membrane 13.
