PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic printer by which a pixel can be easily deviated without applying vibration to a picture display means regardless of the type of a photographic paper, and by which a picture source can be easily switched. SOLUTION: As to this photographic printer 1; the pixel can be deviated in a direction perpendicular to a photographic paper carrying direction by the slight movement of a movable mirror 15, so that the pixel can be deviated in the photographic paper carrying direction by a photographic paper carrying mechanism. According to this pixel deviation technique, the photographic paper need not be moved in the direction perpendicular to the photographic paper carrying direction, so that the various kinds of photographic paper can be used without an obstacle. Since a picture display means 13 need not be moved, vibration is prevented from being applied to the means 13. Furthermore, the picture source can be easily switched by the large movement of the mirror 15.
