COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM USING SYNCHRONIZED CHAOTIC CIRCUITS

A communication system is proposed using synchronised chaotic circuits. In particular, the chaotic circuits are based on the Chua circuit. The transmitter switches a plurality of impedance elements in the tank portion of the transmitter's Chua circuit, in such a way that it operates in a number of distinct regimes. Several possible receiver structures are proposed, including the use of a Chua circuit tuned to each of the possible operating regimes of the transmitter; and using a tank circuit and an FFT.
