PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound eye image pickup device which decreases structural components of each image pickup system and can realize a compact structure by providing each image pickup system with an off axial optical system block that includes an off axial reflection area of an asynchronous non-spherical surface and has a refracting power for forming a real image as a whole. SOLUTION: Optical elements 11L and 11R on a physical object side are formed by a transparent object such as a glass and have off axial optical system blocks having plural reflection areas and refracting surfaces. On surfaces of these optical elements 11L and 11R is formed an incident plane with a negative refracting power, a reflection area, and an injection plane with a positive refracting power by the passing order of a light beam from the physical object, and they are non-spherical shape of a rotation asymmetry as a whole. An image pickup system is composed of the plural optical elements 11L and 11R of asymmetrical non-spherical off axial optical blocks and can adjust a congestion angle by being rotated in a plane including an injection reference shaft. Thus, it is possible to constitute the image pickup system compact. |
