A device for receiving electrical components (1) taken out of service by an automatic equipping machine, in which the device is fitted with a belt- or band-type displaceable carrier for the components (1). The carrier is designed as a component belt (3) fitted with open pockets (4) for accommodating the components (1), the pockets being arranged with equal spacing between them. A feed- or advancer-unit (11) is provided for the component belt (3) and the pockets (4) are successively displaceable into a removal zone (6). The device specifically has a collection zone for the filled portion of the component belt (3).
