PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the sufficient fastening torque of a flexible external tooth gear and an output member in a cup type wave gear device. SOLUTION: The boss 43 of the cup shaped flexible external tooth gear 4 of a cup type wave gear device 1 has an external thread 43b formed on its outer peripheral surface. On the end face of an output shaft 6, a circular recessed part is formed. The external thread 43b of the boss 43 is screwed and fixed to an internal thread 61 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the circular recessed part. The boss 43 is fixed to the output shaft 6 by a knock pin 8. Thus, a fastening torque between both the members can be increased more than that when they are fastened and fixed together by using a conventional fastening bolt. |
