PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight and to increase the output of a motor by providing a cooling tank sealed with a coolant in the intermediate portion of a stator core in the laminating direction, and connecting it with a heat exchanger provided out of a stator, thereby suppressing the local heat of a stator coil. CONSTITUTION:A disc-shape cooling tank 13 is mounted instead of a laminated core in the intermediate portion of a stator core 1 in the laminating direction to form the core 1 of the prescribed length. A heat exchanger 17 is provided outside a frame 10, and the exchanger 17 and the tank 13 are connected by a cooling duct. A coolant 15 is sealed in the tank 13. Thus, the heat of the center of the stator can be efficiently removed as designated by an arrow 18 to suppress the local heat of the stator. |
