The door frame comprises two frames (1) each composed of L shaped metal sections (7). Each frame includes two uprights connected by cross members. The metal section forming one of the two uprights has a width greater than the sections (5) forming the cross member. It is extended outwards from the frame along its external longitudinal side by a cylindrical part (14) integral with the section. This part receives in the corner of the frame a hinge spindle (8) carried by one of the cross members.
