<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent misjudgements which result from deterioration of a transmitter or stain at a reflecting face of a reflecting body in a reflection type object-detecting apparatus. SOLUTION: An object-detecting apparatus 10 has a first and a second reflecting bodies 4, 5 for sequentially reflecting, passing vibration wave pulse signals from a transmitter 3, a receiver 11 for receiving vibration waves passing the second reflecting body 5, a level detection circuit 12 for detecting the level of a reception signal from the receiver 11, an object monitor circuit 7 for monitoring the presence/absence of an object from a time difference between, when a pulse signal is generated from a pulse generator 2 when a reception signal from a receiver 6 which receives reflected waves from an external object 9 is received, and an AND circuit 13 for operating AND of the outputs of the level detection circuit 12 and object monitor circuit 7.</p> |
